I’ve been meaning to make one of these for a while, having looked at the ones you can buy, and not liking them. This is lined with fabric and has a granny stripe crochet cover. I sandwiched a piece of curtain interlining between the fabric layers (cut 4 layers of fabric and 2 layers of interlining) to give it some cushioning then made a couple of interfaced handles, which I stitched on before fitting the crochet cover. There’s a zip in mine but there doesn’t have to be. I simply stitched all the layers together with zip zag then hand stitched the crocheted cover onto the lining at the top!
Yours is the first crochet laptop cover I’ve seen, and it’s a wonderful piece of inspiration.
Thank you! I am very happy with it!
I love it… I have a neoprene case for my laptop, but I think that I might cover it with crochet to brighten it up.
